On a serene Sunday, the waters of Sportbad Ingolstadt shimmered with more than just the reflection of the sun; they resonated with the spirit of courage, determination, and community. An extraordinary event unfolded as individuals with disabilities gathered for a Discover Scuba Diving course, redefining what it means to explore the depths of both water and potential.

This remarkable event was orchestrated by the visionary 🚀Nicole Kraß whose dedication to inclusivity in diving has opened new horizons for many. Through her initiative, Tauchen mit Handicap, Nicole has been a beacon of inspiration, proving that the underwater world is accessible to everyone, regardless of physical limitations. As PADI Adaptive Techniques Specialty Instructor me and my friends (Steffen Möhring, Chris Münich), are supporters of Tauchen mit Handicap.

The day was made possible through the generous support of Tauchbasis-Schwerelos, who sponsored the rental equipment, ensuring that each participant was equipped with the necessary gear to embark on their underwater journey. The EC Diving Club also played a pivotal role by providing access to the Sportbad Ingolstadt, creating a safe and welcoming environment for this transformative experience.
